![]() I couldn't find anything on this on the forum, or anywhere else really, so hoping this might be of use to someone out there. (The beauty of Bformat for me though is that you can decode it to anything - 5.1, 7.1, Quad, stereo, whatever you have access to in a venue. It's basically a way of using multi channel cues together with regular stereo or mono cues in Qlab. ![]() You just need to use different decoders in Reaper. This will also work for 5.1, 7.1 or whatever. As someone who's worked a lot with Bformat files and ambisonics I worked out a way to be able to fire 4 channel (or any number of channel) files and decode them using Qlab, together with Reaper, ambisonic decoders and Soundflower. Last login: Sun Dec 4 10:07:59 on consoleģ3-82-114-61:~ mihail$ sudo rm -rf /Library/Extensions/Soundflower.I've worked out how to use ambisonics and Qlab so you can get good surround sound for the theatre.Īnyone who's used Qlab knows how great it is for the job of firing sound cues on demand. type in: sudo rm -rf /Library/Extensions/Soundflower.kext So *after* following Neil Clayton instructions above, if you're still seeing Sunflower in System Preferences / Sound, Output tab, try executing the above command on it own: You can see the extra line compared to the Uninstaller for Soundflower 1.6.6b: The Uninstall scrip is:ĭo shell script "sudo rm -rf /System/Library/Extensions/Soundflower.kext" with administrator privilegesĭo shell script "sudo rm -rf /Library/Extensions/Soundflower.kext" with administrator privilegesĭo shell script "sudo rm -rf /Library/Receipts/Soundflower*" with administrator privilegesĭo shell script "sudo rm -rf /var/db/receipts/.*" with administrator privilegesĭo shell script "sudo rm -rf /Applications/Soundflower" with administrator privileges I've found it on GitHub, link, under the subhead Downloads - "". Scanning my hard drive I've found that I've used a different installer, "". The above procedure did not work for me, I could still see Soundflower in System Preferences / Sound, Output tab. If you don't know what this means, get a tech-savvy friend to do it for you. Contact the software manufacturer for assistance." In this case you will need to disable System Integrity Protection and remove /System/Library/Extensions/Soundflower.kext (and then re-enable System Integrity Protection). If you previously installed Soundflower on an older version of OS X you may encounter a message saying " The installer encountered an error that caused the installation to fail.
